Sooooo, if you are "up" on what is good for you (what I call "legal," meaning it contributes to good health, doesn't add unhealthy weight, and is actually a disease fighter, so would you think I'd be endorsing CHOCOLATE MILK??? ;-) Well.....not just ANY Chocolate Milk, but COCONUT MILK, which is awesome for you. I think even better than soy milk, almond milk and rice milk as Cow/Bovine Milk alternatives. Short catch up: Cows milk is hard to digest, is generally a liquid intake of hormones, antibiotics and creates mucous, big time! That's why I find all of my clients who go dairy free for the most part, do better health wise.
SO DELICIOUS is my favorite brand of Coconut Milk. It is produced by a terrific company and is inexpensive, and comes up with the most SUPER flavors. This holiday, I picked up Chocolate Mint and went CRAZY. I had to keep myself from downing the whole, ice cold, DELICIOUS quart. It is BETTER than the real deal, trust me. And it has about 7 carbs (fewer sugars even!) a small glass, 14 a full sized one. C'mon now, that is LOW~ it is so tasty, and I believe it was such a HIT, they will be keeping it out for a few months.
